Why I Run
I am participating in the Washington DC ScopeItOut 5K on March 29, 2020 at Freedom Plaza. I have been battling this disease since June 2016. I had a reoccurrence in July 2019 and just completed 12 very tough rounds of chemo. After chemo, the disease is now stable. Although there is no cure for a Stage 4 disease, I am prayerful that God will fully heal my body! I share my story freely and I am an advocate for Colon Cancer Awareness. Get tested; I want to save lives! #hope #faith #believe #GodisMyHealer
I am asking my family, friends and coworkers to support my involvement in ScopeItOut by joining my team or with a tax-deductible donation. Your support will help us prevent colorectal cancer and save lives. If you are joining my team, a Fundraiser page will be created in your name. Please don't feel obligated to raise money; walking as a member of Tina's Tribe is more than enough!
Also note that there will be Team shirts available for sale. I will let you know when I have the sample and pricing available.
