Why I Run
I am once again participating in the DC ScopeItOut on March 29th at Freedom Plaza in memory of my dad, Tom. Cancer sucks, and with your help, we can work to end this disease.
Tom battled Stage 4 colon cancer for almost two years, passing in 2012. He inspired many by his determination to live life to the fullest despite putting his body through countless rounds of chemo. I will never forget how he still showed up to coach his basketball team one last time just ONE week before passing. He motivates me to keep pushing through any obstacle I may face.
Please support my involvement in the ScopeItOut with a tax-deductible donation. Your support will help us prevent colorectal cancer and save lives.
For more information on the event, please visit the Colorectal Cancer Alliance's website at CCAlliance.org. Thanks for visiting my DC ScopeItOut page!
