Brad was a 50 year old highly active, healthy, fun loving man when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in November, 2017. He was married to his wife, Lori, for 26 years, and had two amazing children, Zach (21) and Katie (18). Brad was an Emergency Room Physician who loved his career, his co-workers, and he loved the teaching aspect of his job. His passion in life was spending time with his family. Whether it was attending IU basketball games with his son, to taking his daughter on Father/Daughter trips to Chicago to just spending time at the lake house with the entire family, Brad embraced all life had to offer. After his diagnosis, he continued to have an incredible spirit, zest for life and amazing sense of humor. Even a few weeks before his death, he spent a few Saturdays down at IU football games to visit Zach and would spend evenings visiting with lifelong friends who meant so much to him. We will miss him terribly, but we will continue to celebrate the amazing person he was as well as the incredible and admirable way he lived his life.
