Why I Run

I am participating in the D.C. ScopeItOut on March 31st at Freedom Plaza.

Please support my involvement in the ScopeItOut with a tax-deductible donation. Your support will help us prevent colorectal cancer and save lives.

For more information on the event, please visit Undyrunwalk.org or the Colorectal Cancer Alliance's website at CCAlliance.org.
Thanks for visiting my D.C. ScopeItOut page!

Me with my dad, Daniel Pompa. He's proof that early colorectal screening can save your life.

Colon cancer runs in my family. My father had a colon tumor removed in 1996. It was the size of an apple. Luckily the tumor had not spread and he needed no further treatment. He's now 89. Screening is uber important because early detection is the key.
